Every Child Matters
Last term was very busy. The children were watching the caterpillars turn into butterflies. The children released the butterflies in the nursery garden. The treasure chest day was great fun, thank you to all the parents who attended. Watch out for the photographs. All the children enjoyed the trip to the farm, the children were able to feed the animals and stroke the baby animals, the pictures will be uploaded soon. To end the term the children enjoyed sports day especially the teachers and parents races.

This term we will be looking at growth. We will be looking at, growth of humans from babies to adults, the life cycle of caterpillars to butterflies and the growth of plants and flowers.
Please can you help with our topic by sending in a photograph of your child as a toddler.

Last week the children went on a spring walk. The children were looking at the trees and flowers around the playgrounds. The children enjoyed looking for signs of spring.

This week the children have been thinking about the sun. The children have painted pictures of the sun as you can see in the photographs. The children were unable to make shadows in the garden as it wasn’t sunny this week. Maybe you can make different shadow shapes with your child next time it is sunny.


This week the children have been exploring the wind. The children have made boats,they then had to see if they could make them move across the water by blowing them. The children have also made streamers and they used them in the nursery garden. All the children enjoyed making patterns in the wind.







This half term we will be looking at the weather. Last week we were thinking about the snow. Some children went outside to make footprints in the snow. The children also made snow angels.Take a look at the photographs.
